Sullivan - Nannie Hume

Mrs. Marcus O. Sullivan died at her home on E. Green St. about two on Monday morning. Mrs. Sullivan has been in poor health as the result of a broken hip several months ago, but her death was unexpected. Mrs. Sullivan, whose maiden name was Nancy Elizabeth Hume, was born in Cumberland Co, Kentucky in 1858. She was the daughter of Wilson and Margaret Hume. In 1865 she came to Indiana and made her home with Mrs. Clayton Cooper near Waveland. She married Mr. Sullivan, May 17, 1917. She married Mr. Sullivan May 17, 1917. He died Nov 1, 1927. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church and Dorothy Q Chapter, DAR. She is survived by 3 brothers, Charles Hume of Coalings, Cal; John Hume of Braman, Oklahoma and Samuel Hume of Marshall. Funeral services were held at the home on Wednesday morning in charge of Rev. H. Hugo of Boswell. Burial at Union Cemetery. -- kbz
